01 / Overview

An identity for everyday style.

K-Shan Apparel is an apparel brand whose identity document connects quality and comfort with distinctive style. The visual system combines a compact geometric mark with an expressive wordmark for both straightforward communication and fashion-led applications.

02 / Brand idea

Clarity with character.

The identity balances a simple, recognisable symbol with a more expressive word treatment. It gives the apparel brand a consistent core while leaving room for the character expected from fashion-facing work.

  • 01

    Quality & comfort

The identity document associates the apparel brand with comfort, durability and a consistent standard of quality.

  • 02

    Distinctive style

The visual direction makes space for creativity and individuality rather than a purely corporate expression.

  • 03

    Consistent branding

The mark is intended to stay recognisable across different sizes, surfaces and communication touchpoints.

03 / Core logo

A simple mark with a more expressive voice.

The primary lockup brings a compact geometric symbol together with the more fluid 'shan' wordmark and an Apparel (PVT) LTD descriptor. That contrast gives the logo both structure and personality, while the descriptor keeps the full business name close to the mark.

04 / Logo attributes

A recognisable core.

  1. 01

    Simplicity

A clean form intended to remain recognisable at different sizes.

  2. 02

    Relevance

A visual style designed for the apparel and fashion context.

  3. 03

    Memorability

A distinct pairing of symbol and wordmark intended to create a recognisable signature.

  4. 04

    Timelessness

A direction intended to outlast short-lived visual trends.

05 / Logo applications

One identity, multiple expressions.

The document presents the full lockup in positive and reverse contrast, alongside a circular emblem and smaller icon version. These arrangements give the identity options for different surfaces and scales.

06 / Typography

Modern structure meets editorial character.

Montserrat supplies a clear geometric sans-serif voice for headings and practical communication. Playfair Display adds an expressive serif contrast for selected editorial moments.

  • Readability

Keep spacing and contrast clear in print and digital work.

  • Integrity

Preserve the intended proportions of each typeface.

07 / Color system

A broad palette built for versatility.

The palette is designed to remain consistent across applications while allowing flexibility for apparel, digital and promotional contexts. Contrast and readability guide each combination; the colors are options within a system, not a requirement to use every hue at once.

08 / Identity flexibility

Built to flex without losing recognition.

A compact symbol, multiple logo arrangements, two contrasting typefaces and a layered palette give the identity room to adapt. The aim is for each application to feel related without making every one identical.

09 / Brand applications

Designed to move beyond the brand sheet.

The apparel, storefront and retail collateral mockups show the identity beyond a static logo presentation. They test its character across different surfaces, scales and visual contexts.

10 / Reflection & my role

Consistency does not have to mean sameness.

K-Shan Apparel reinforces the value of a recognisable core that remains stable while typography, color and composition shift with context. That flexibility helps an apparel identity move between straightforward communication and more expressive fashion-led applications.

My role / Brand Designer

I designed the K-Shan Apparel visual identity, including its logo variations, typography and color system, and presented it across apparel and retail mockups.
